Michael D'Alton's School of Bio-Energy Healing is responsible for the personal information we use to run this website and our courses.
Information we collect
We collect your name, email address, account credentials and any profile preferences you choose to provide. We keep records of your purchases, course access, lesson completion and certificates. If you contact us, request the newsletter or report a problem, we receive the information you send.
Our services also process technical information such as your IP address, browser, pages requested and error details to deliver the site and prevent misuse. Stripe processes your payment details; we do not store your full card number or security code.
How we use and share information
We use this information to manage accounts, process orders, provide courses and certificates, send account emails, answer requests, keep the service secure and meet our legal obligations. School administrators can access records needed for these tasks.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it with the services below as needed to operate the site, or when disclosure is required by law. Student profiles and learning records are not public. The practitioner directory displays practitioners' listing information; contact us to request a correction or removal.
Services we use
- Vercel: website hosting and technical logs.
- Supabase: accounts, course records and file storage.
- Stripe: payments, receipts and fraud prevention.
- Resend: account email delivery and delivery records.
- Vimeo: embedded lesson videos and playback information.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: checks that help prevent automated abuse.
These providers may process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where local laws may allow access by public authorities. The links above explain their privacy practices. External booking and social media services have their own privacy policies.
Cookies and browser storage
We use cookies and browser storage for sign-in, your basket, preferences and security. Embedded video and payment services may also use cookies and receive technical information when they load. You can manage cookies in your browser, but blocking them may prevent sign-in, checkout or playback from working.
Keeping and protecting information
We retain account and learning records to provide your ongoing course access. Other records are kept for the purposes described here, including support, security, accounting and legal obligations, and removed when no longer needed. Some records may need to be retained after an account closes. We use access controls and secure connections to protect information; no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can edit your profile and contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of your information. You can also withdraw consent where we rely on it or ask us to stop newsletter emails. Closing an account may affect course access. We may need to verify your identity and retain records required by law.
For privacy questions or requests, email info@daltonsbio.com. We respond within the time required by applicable law.
We update this page when our practices change and seek consent where required for a new use of your information. See also our Terms and Conditions.
